Today in Smith’s gregarious 4th hour class on Friday we looked at the quotes and visual we did for homework over the power of fear. After everyone shared their picture and talked about their quote, we got into small groups and began to look at a poem called The Fist by Derek Walcott. In each group, we had to read and annotate the poem. We then had to share the google doc with Smith and then talked about the poem as a class. We talked about what Walcott’s message was and how it connected to Life of Pi.

HOMEWORK:

Read 37-45 and annotate(SHE IS CHECKING THEM ON MONDAY)
